Watch a film about Lauren's work by Caustic Coastal here
Lauren Godfrey (b. UK) is an artist based in London.
Her work invites interaction and collaboration, often swerving close to furniture or the quasi-useful.
In recent work, fountains and sundials – elemental clichés – meet post-modern silhouettes and pattern overload. There’s a suggested functionality and a whisper of a potential state shift, collaborating with surrounding elements and viewers alike.
The work offers space to the viewer whether it be to take a meditative moment in the company of trickling water or an invitation to interact and respond.
